Heat some oil in the pan and add the onion, garlic, ginger and chilli. Cook for 2 minutes.
Add the meat, stir and cook for another couple of minutes or until meat turns white.
Add the rest of the ingredients and stir well. Once all the ingredients are incorporated leave the meat to cook in its own juices for 2 minutes without stirring. This allows the meat to caramelise. After 2 minutes stir the meat and leave for another 2 minutes. Repeat this process a couple times until the meat is caramelised.
